Here's to you Mrs. Greyhawk
Mrs. Greyhawk (pseudonym) over at the Mudville Gazette conducts her daily "Dawn Patrol" and highlights some salient blogs of the day. I noticed my blog traffic was spiking and figured out it was because I had made the list.
I want to publicly thank Mrs. Greyhawk for the recognition, and for the work that she and Mr. Greyhawk put into such a great blog.
I also want to publicly thank all those that stop by and read the rantings of an idealist tanker stuck in the desert without his tank.
Later,

Hi, John - I check your blog daily, but usually just lurk & don't comment. Not fair to you, I know, because I really enjoy each new post. I'll try to do better. I loved the lamb "smirking" at you, btw. Take care & thanks for blogging. Most of all, thanks for all the good work y'all are doing in Iraq. I can't tell you how grateful I am.
Just found your blog listed on codewolf.com -- glad I found it!
Well maybe You need to down size from a Tank to something a little more fuel effecient and more common to find,,, and easier to manuver,,,,,,say a 55 gallon drum or a jerry can,,,Sorry John couldnt pass up the joke, finding any chips and movies in the mail yet? Glad to see a better mug shot of ya.
If You find a drum ( Cherry-one owner) I will mail over some lime green Jello and HAZMAT/NUKE stickers so no one from another unit jacks your ride.Hope You get a chuckle,,,,as always Prayers and Good Thoughts,,,
Jason
Junkpoet,
What a huge insult.
We've had similar experiences...the couple of times we've been included in Dawn Patrol, not only did our traffic spike, but we also picked up some readers we may never have had otherwise.
The the last time this happened, blogger Politics of a Patriot read one of our "Curtain Call" posts and subsequently organized her own shoe drive for Iraqi children.
John, Your blog is awsome every few days I take time out too check out the mil blogs and find them eye opening & educational.thank you!Steph B
